Blossoming of the guayacanes

With the first winter rains this month, the flowers of the guayacán began to yellow in a paradise of approximately 40,000 hectares, making a magic carpet on the floor, once they fall. The beautiful and perfumed flowers can be contemplated from 5 to 8 days, a natural spectacle that is admired by own and strangers.

Its maximum splendor, is presented once a year in Mangahurco, Cazaderos and Bolaspamba, rural parishes of the Zapotillo canton that make up the Dry Forest, located in the province of Loja, south of Ecuador border with Peru.
