Happy Birthday Limoncocha Biological Reserve

The reserve protects the lagoon mainly Limoncocha a smaller called Yanacocha, and wetlands, swamp and tropical rain forests that surround them. Limoncocha, especially its banks and marsh areas, home to a very unique flora and fauna; adapted to living in permanent interaction water-forest.
Here we find a great diversity of species, especially waterfowl, which led to its declaration as a Ramsar site, an internationally recognized wetland of great importance.
