Happy Wildlife Refuge Mangrove Estuary Rio Esmeraldas

The refuge is located at the mouth of the Esmeraldas River in the Pacific Ocean, between the city of Esmeraldas and the parish of Tachina, where the airport is located. The area comprises the mangroves that exist at the mouth of the Esmeraldas river and an adjacent area with patches of dry scrub.
